Sutton Young is a design consultancy, dedicated to putting flesh and blood into bricks and mortar. The stories of how people occupy, buy or sell and, above all, live in cities and buildings are both incredibly varied and also desperately underdeveloped. Will's job is to find and tell them.
A million years ago, he started in advertising as an account man. After a couple of years, he switched to copywriting at Bartle Bogle Hegarty. In two, long stints, he learned from brilliant people and produced lots of work over 15 years. He has also worked as head of copy at Leagas Delaney, International Creative Director at DDB London and, for eight years, creative director and acting MD of Ogilvy and Mather, London.
Along the way, he has won several shelves of awards for himself and his teams, as well as working with over 70 different clients. He also writes and has drummed in many strange venues.
He jumped away from big advertising to Big Fish in 2014 for a reinvigorating few years creating, naming and steering food and drink brands to market. Sutton Young is the new-ish next chapter.
