    Catch the Story School team across the week and try new tricks and tips on how to make the most out of the creative tools available on Instagram Stories. Hear from creatives first-hand about how they approach crafting for Instagram, and whilst you’re there, grab a free smoothie and start your story.

  • Faces of the Future with WPP

    12, 13 and 14 July 2018, 10am – 5pm

    The hall of fame for the 50 fresh young minds hand-picked by the industry’s finest for a place on the New Blood Academy with WPP, brought to life through illustrator and collage artist, Rob Halhead Baker. Rob will run his “Art of Recycling Imagery” workshop alongside the exhibition, demonstrating how to create analogue collages by creating textures and recycling imagery. Come and learn the skills behind the masterpiece.

  • Doodle Bug

    14 July 2018, 12:30 – 1:30pm

    Doodle, etch, sketch, design…however you want to catch the creativebug, put pen to paper, or marker to cellophane, and get your juices flowing.

    Inspired by D&AD’s Impact:, recognising sustainable and ethical advertising and design; participants are invited to doodle their very own bug to change the world.

    A participatory workshop that all are welcome to join.

  • Potion Branding

    14 July 2018, 1:45 – 3:15pm

    What makes your homebrewed magic potion stand out? These days it’s not enough for a potent, bravery, love or luck brew to merely do what is says on the bottle. Join this participatory workshop to bring some magic to the branding process.

    Free to attend for children aged 5 -12. Parents are then free to do what they like, unsupervised, unless of course they would like to join in.

    Are you ready to design something so incredible that it will change the world! Ready, set, invent.

    Choose from one of our design briefs, each inspired by the D&AD Pencils, and use Lego to create your design.  Create something for ‘That’s Rubbish’, 'One of a Kind' or 'Change the World' or engage in Lego free play and a group collaboration.
