Andre Laurentino

André Laurentino, also known as Dede, was one of Brazil’s most awarded art directors for over 10 years. In 2003 he became a copywriter at Lew’Lara, which eventually became Lew’Lara\TBWA.

He soon managed to establish himself as one of Brazil’s most awarded copywriters, winning the same awards he did as an art director. This includes Cannes lions and gold medals at the Brazilian Creative Annual.

In 2011 Dede moved to London to take up the role of ECD at TBWA\London. There he helped the agency win One Show and D&AD pencils, Cannes Lions and new business pitches, including the global Aquafresh account, the global Datsun account and the adidas’ 2014 World Cup global project.

Dede has just joined Ogilvy and Mather where he takes up the role of Global ECD for Unilever, based in London.

He has won a total of 15 Cannes lions either as an art director, copywriter or ECD, as well as over 80 Brazilian Creative Annual Awards.
