David Lee is the Chief Creative Officer of Squarespace, leading their award-winning brand team whose work encapsulates all brand, creative, design and production efforts for the company. David was recently honored in 2022 as Brand Chief Creative Officer of The Year by Ad Age. He was also featured in the Adweek Creative 100 List as a Branded Content Innovator, raising the bar for storytelling and artistic integrity. He has been named as one of the Most Creative People in Business by Fast Company and has led his team to be honored as Ad Age 2020 A-List In-House Agency of the Year. Since joining Squarespace, David has masterminded nine Super Bowl campaigns and won an Emmy Award for most Outstanding Commercial of the year. Prior to Squarespace, David served as the Worldwide Executive Creative Director of TBWA, as a Creative Director at Wieden+Kennedy London and AKQA San Francisco, and started his career as a Designer and Art Director at Sid Lee in Montréal.

David graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design and currently serves on their Board of Trustees. He also serves as an Executive Member of the IADAS and the advisory board at D&AD. He has won and served as a judge for almost every industry award, including the Cannes Lions, D&AD, ADC, One Show, Clios, Andy Awards, AICP, Webby Awards, Tribeca Film Festival, SXSW and Fast Company.
