Paul Shearer

In 1989 Paul joined BDDH as a junior creative.

In his first year his work for the Co-operative Bank won a Cannes Lion and the bank received over 50,000 new customers. Paul spent the next 10 years working at Simons Palmer and Bartle Bogle Hegarty. He helped BBH to set up their NY office. His work for Guess Jeans, Nike, Audi and Levis won him respect and awards, including eight D&AD silver pencils and six Cannes Lions.

After this Paul worked at Wieden+Kennedy London as Creative Director and then he headed to Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam. His work for Nike earned him praise for being relevant and entertaining to the target audience. His Nike interactive campaign for the 2002 World Cup has set the platform for every other since. Paul also launched ‘Just Do It’ in many countries.

Paul then founded Nitro in London, an agency passionate about digital storytelling. Their highlight was Grand Prix at Cannes.

Paul prides himself on understanding clients and the global alignment that is needed with them. He will always surprise with his ideas and directs all his own work. With awards Paul will always tell you that winning a client some new customers is way more satisfying.
