Elise leads communications agency word-design, offering a rare mix of strategy, design and writing services, with specialist expertise in brand voice and verbal identity. Elise is on the board of writers' organisation 26 for whom she co-directed writing festival Wordstock 2012, Throwaway Lines, the 26:50 campaign for PEN International, and ‘26 Writers Norwich’, working with England’s UNESCO City of Literature. She co-founded and judged the 26 Writing Awards, launched in 2016. Elise is the script consultant and producer of award-winning Britfilm SAXON, for which she was honoured as Trailblazer by the Edinburgh International Film Festival. Until recently, she was external examiner for the MA in Professional Writing at Falmouth University. She continues to teach creative writing at Central Saint Martins and Arvon. Her published works include three novels and two books of non-fiction. Faber & Faber publishes her latest novel in spring, 2018.
