Lucy Holmes, trained at the Rhode Island School of Design in the USA. There she came into contact with the excitement and disciplines of graphic design as a way of seeing things, as a way of life.
She spent her formative years in the design business working at Pentagram, the world’s leading independent design company. She picked up good habits and good friends surrounded by people of the highest talent and achievement in design. In 2000 she co-founded Holmes Wood, which became a world leader, focusing on visitor spaces as an expression of branding.
In 2018 it was time to develop new aspects of my working life. And to be free to do the work that I value and love. I founded Holmes Studio at the end of 2019.
Lucy is a multiple award winner from professional bodies, including D&AD, DBA, ISTD and SEGD. She is a fellow of the RSA and Board Member of SEGD.
