An Economics graduate, Matthieu Elkaim decided to interrupt his university studies for his first training period at Publicis when he was 18 years old.
In 2001, he joined TBWA/Paris for three years as a Junior Copywriter, working for brands such as Sony Playstation, McDonald’s, Amnesty International and more. Then he joined DDB Paris.
After five years working for clients such as Volkswagen, Nike and Audi, he became European Creative Director in charge of Lipton Unilever and Lipton Ice Tea.
In March 2012, Matthieu joined CLM BBDO as Executive Creative Director.
Three years later he was appointed Chief Creative Officer of BBDO Paris.
Passionate about advertising, he loves big ideas, innovative approaches and risk-taking.
In 2013, Matthieu was named French Creative Director of the year.
So far, he has won numerous national and international awards including Cannes Lions, Eurobest, One Show, Clio, D&AD, in a wide range of categories (Film, Promo, Cyber, Direct, Outdoor, PR, Press…).
