June Mineyama-Smithson (aka MAMIMU) is a London-based artist/graphic designer, special lecturer at London College of Communication, and a mentor at Ladies, Wine & Design and The Dots.
Background in branding, she has been working internationally at Wolff Olins, Moving Brands, and Eight Partnership on some of the world-leading brands such as PwC, LVMH and Cathey Pacific.
As an artist, June creates bold optimistic patterns from the seemingly mundane, inspired by the philosophy of Japanese Kimono artisans. Her work has been featured on Creative Boom, YCN, Cow Parade Niseko and SCMP.
She has been invited to talk at YOOX Net-a-Porter Group, Design Manchester Festival and ustwo.
