Lynda Relph-Knight is a design writer and consultant. She works with design organisations and consultancies to promote a better understanding of design across disciplines among clients and within the design professions.
She is an activist within the creative community, known for bringing people together. She hosts regular dinners for designers and is involved in setting up seminars and awards schemes for creative audiences and design students.
Her previous experience was in journalism. She was editor of Design Week for more than 20 years until 2011 and covers all aspects of commercial design.
She is an honorary fellow of London’s Royal College of Art, a Titan (advisor) at the School for Startups, a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a member of D&AD. She is on the advisory panels of the Associate Parliamentary Design & Innovation Group and The Sorrell Foundation’s National Art & Design Saturday Club.
