Jonathan Kneebone is a founder and creative partner of The Glue Society - an independent art and directing collective working globally.

The Glue Society’s groundbreaking work encompasses everything from the development and direction of experiential projects, online entertainment and commercials, to the creation of exhibitions, public installations and site-specific sculpture as well as the renowned contemporary art magazine, GLUES©IETY.

In response to its pioneering work balancing art and commerce, Creativity Magazine defined the ten-strong creative group as ‘the experts at things which haven’t been done before’.

And a number of their projects have been singled out for similar praise by the likes of Time magazine, The New York Times & The Guardian.

Among its array of advertising awards from every international festival, The Glue Society counts a multitude of D&AD Yellow Pencils for both concept and craft disciplines - as well as 8 Cannes Grands Prix/Titanium Awards, and over 20 projects achieving Gold Lion status.

The Glue Society have exhibited at Miami Art Basel, Pulse New York, London Design Festival, Hecho en Casa South America – as well as numerous shows across the Americas, Europe and Asia.

For experiential and installation project and commercial film direction, The Glue Society is represented by Biscuit in the UK & USA, La Pac in France, and Revolver in Australasia.

The Glue Society - under Jonathan's leadership - has been instrumental in creating positive change within the industry, originating and supporting the D&AD initiatives - Rare, Shift Sydney and Brief to Broadcast - promoting diversity, individuality and education.

Jonathan is an international member of the D&AD Board of Trustees, sits on the D&AD Global Advisory Board, and is a regular industry speaker, award juror and opinion-piece writer.
