Mike is the owner and creative director of Clout, a brand and design consultancy. He has worked/freelanced as a designer and creative director at agencies including Elmwood, The Allotment, Pentagram, Williams Murray Hamm, Lambie-Nairn and The Partners (now Superunion). He has worked on projects for clients like BBC, First Direct, Mind, Design Council, D&AD, Akzo Nobel and Reckitt Benckiser. His work has won over forty international awards for creative excellence and effectiveness including D&AD. He was a jury member at the 2013 D&AD Awards, where he judged the global branding category.
He also dedicates some of his time as an associate tutor at Cardiff Metropolitan University’s School of Art & Design.
