Anna Hickey is UK Managing Director at Maxus, a top 10 media agency, and part of WPP's GroupM. She joined the agency at the beginning of 2015, having previously held board-level client leadership roles at both MEC and Dentsu-Aegis's Carat.
She has worked in the media industry for 20 years, in both strategic and planning roles, having studied Advertising and Marketing at Lancaster University Business School. She has a passion for strategic and creative thinking, and has been the recipient of several awards during her career.
Since joining Maxus and championing its 'Lean Into Change' philosophy, she has pioneered a new people strategy focusing on growing people's talent and skills outside of their core agency role, introducing collaborative and agile ways of working, and a 'creative champions' programme to surface and celebrate extraordinary innovation and ideas within the business.
