I began working in advertising in 2000 at Grabarz & Partner in Hamburg, where a very wise ECD talked me out of a career in account management and suggested a career as a copywriter instead. After spending a few years in Germany, I returned to my hometown, Cape Town, where I spent 7 years working for TBWA, Lowe and FoxP2.
In 2012, I moved to Ogilvy & Mather in London, where I helped create Expedia's "Travel Yourself Interesting" campaign and "Le Big Swim" for Kronenbourg 1664 with my creative partner, Miguel Nunes. We also had a lot of fun with the Pizza Hut Delivery, Dove and Philips accounts.
In 2017, we joined Wieden+Kennedy where I've recently traded my adidas Originals for a pair of Nikes.
