Executive Creative Director, Brave and HeyHuman
Growing up in rural Sweden was a toughening experience. Along with many vigorous physical activities (shooting fluffy animals and arm wrestling flaxen-haired Helgas), Bo discovered a love of literature and a flair for wordsmithery and decided to build his career in advertising.
He worked at agencies like Lowe and BBDO, until he realised that his glacial Scandinavian demeanour could be put to better use abroad and hotfooted it
to Australia and Peter Clemenger/BBDO and then, in the interest of racking
up some air miles, the UK.
Enchanted by the warmth and politeness of London’s commuters, he stayed and adapted to the intricacies of technology at Modem Media, only to join Ogilvy as Creative Director and later board member of Ogilvy Group UK – and of course, gather a list of awards and finalists ranging from Epica and New York Festivals to DMA, D&AD and Cannes.
In 2009 he set sail again and arrived in Paris to join DDB as Creative Director to develop the blueprint for digital led agencies within the network. He enjoyed the french, the fashion, the croissants and café lifestyle so much that he became partner of Megalo, a digitally led but integrated agency with offices in Paris, Annecy and Shanghai. Next, he was appointed the Executive Creative Director of Brave and its sister agency HeyHuman.
