I started my career in 1978 as a junior writer at Boase Massimi Pollitt in London, working with Tina Morgan, under Deputy CD Dave Trott and CD John Webster.

We then worked at Collet Dickenson Pearce for CDs Tony Brignull, Neil Godfrey, Bob Isherwood, Dave Brown, John Kelly and John O'Driscoll, and then moved back to work for Dave Trott again at Gold Greenlees Trott in its early years.

Next, it was back to BMP, as a Creative Group Head, teaming up with Peter Gatley, under CDs Alan Tilby and Paul Leeves.

And then in 1988, I moved to Saatchi & Saatchi, under Paul Arden, working first with Bill Gallacher and then Matt Ryan. I ran another creative group, became one of the CDs and then eventually Joint ECD of the London office, alongside Adam Kean. In 2003, I was appointed Regional Creative Director for EMEA, overseeing 50+ offices in 30+ countries, with a seat on the Global CD Bob Isherwood's World Wide Creative Board.

I left in 2017, continuing to work primarily for the broader Publicis Groupe across the world, running ideation workshops to develop work for pitches and key projects, and creative training sessions.

In 2019, I started BLITZWORKS, a strategic and creative consultancy with a global reach, with Marcus Brown and Ajab Samrai, offering marketers an alternative, faster model, developing new creative platforms or work on existing platforms in three days.

I have won awards in all major local and international festivals, including D&AD Black and Yellow Pencils, Cannes Gold LIons and Best of Show at the One Show, and have served on the juries of most, and been President of the Jury at some.
