Inspired by my late Grandfather’s love of hats, I honed my artisanal craft with British Royal Warrant holders Lock & Co Hatters. Carving out a specific passion for hat restoration alongside a love for forming genuine connections, and changing perspectives through stories, and experiences soon evolved into Hatsonly; an immersive hat-themed Hativation for hat enthusiasts and creatives alike.
The success and awareness produced by Hatsonly inspired me to start Mr.Hat; a creative community that nurtures and empowers niche and underrepresented creatives, helping them to get their voices heard and their work seen, through authentic storytelling, impactful campaigns, strategic partnerships, and unique events.
My diverse career path has informed my creative journey, and I have single handily disrupted the creative industry, using just a hat as my catalyst. I enjoy helping to bring, brand strategy to life through experiences and love finding new ways to bridge the hat world with other creative industries such as music. With past collaborations including Grammy-award-winning artist Erykah Badu. Everything I do as a Black creative is to continue to change perspectives, through stories, experiences, and connections.
I am a creative strategist, celebrity manager, storyteller, event producer, and father. I wear many hats, and I restore some too.
