Mike Wiese is Head of Original and Branded Entertainment for global advertising agency J. Walter Thompson (JWT New York). There, he leads the creative and business development of programming and content solutions for clients across the network. This includes digital video, scripted and unscripted film and television, music experience, licensing, and influencer marketing.
At JWT, Mike has developed and produced programming for Microsoft, the Sundance Film Festival, Rolex, BBC, National Geographic Channel, Macy’s, CBS, Harper-Collins, Facebook, TLC, Smirnoff, MTV, Nestle, J&J, CollegeHumor.com, US Marine Corp., Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Lifetime, and Sony Television.
Throughout his career, Mike has created acclaimed and award-winning programs, including the Discovery Network long-running television series “Storm Chasers”; Reebok’s film series and Super Bowl campaign, “Terry Tate: Office Linebacker”; Macy’s iconic holiday TV franchise “Yes, Virginia”, and the television movie "Five", produced with Lifetime and Sony Television. His work has won Gold Lions at Cannes, and a Gold Pencil at The OneShow Entertainment.
