Jules Tervoort is Managing Partner of The Panics, the Amsterdam-based film production company which he co-founded with (director) Mischa Rozema. The Panics is composed of sub-brands Post Panic, House of Panic, The Panics Film and Panic Room, The Panics is an internationally respected and awarded team best known for its uncompromising creative ambitions and craft both within the commercial and original content sectors.
Tervoort studied Graphic Design before graduating in Image & Media Technology. He co-founded The Panics with Rozema following the success of their graduation film, A Time For Panic in 1997, and is now both Managing Partner and Head of Production across the group. He supervises productions which span pure live action execution to mixed media VFX and pioneering interactive technology experiences. Within the long form arm, Tervoort is active as Producer on a wide slate of both scripted and non-scripted projects being developed for the international market. He speaks regularly at festivals worldwide (most recently at OFFF Festival Vienna Edition) and is a former member of the ADCN (Dutch Art Directors Club) VFX Jury for the annual Dutch Creativity Awards.
