In his 15-yr long career, Omar’s moved across the globe twice to work with different cultures and sometimes, create pop-culture. In 2011, he joined Leo Burnett’s team at their global headquarter in Chicago, where he was one of the ‘30 Under 30’ professionals in Marketing and Advertising by Forbes. Since 2014, he’s been with BBH Singapore (Ad Age International Agency of the Year in 2018), where he is a Creative Director.
From America to Asia, he’s created work for iconic brands - that are usually good to list in bios - like Nike, Ikea, Uber, P&G, Kellogg’s and McDonald’s to name a few. His work has received over 80 shiny metals for its creativity and effectiveness in major award shows, including Cannes Lions, One Show, Clios, WEBBYs, New York Festival, London International Festival, Effies, among others.
He has also had the privilege to judge international festivals such as the D&AD and New York Festival. But what excites him the most is when his work has made headlines around the world, from Hypebeast to BBC, from Peru to Japan.
