I’m Elena Vela, a London-based Art Director specialising in strategic design and brand experiences.
Over the past 15 years, I have worked in Advertising Agencies and Digital Transformation Consultancies such as HAVAS Worldwide, Publicis Sapient or Edelman across a broad range of clients such as Mercedes-Benz, Disney, Loewe, YSL, Philip Morris, Givenchy, IKEA, and Nescafe to name a few.
I work throughout different disciplines such as creative concepts, art direction, brand identity & strategy.
During the past couple of years, I have specialized in strategic design leading the creation and development of more than 10 brands across different industries: fintech, crypto-currency, health insurance, architecture, and consumer products.
I have managed international and multicultural teams across the globe (From the US to South Africa and Europe) for EMEA and South African clients, making sure to translate the strategies to visual brand languages across different media (From OOH, print to digital products)
The skills that my clients and teammates highlight from me would be my involvement in the projects and with the teams, the high craft level of my designs, and the ability to create conceptual designs that bring the strategy alive.
Over the past year, I’ve worked independently from my design studio, La Musa, based in London, collaborating with other creatives to build disruptive brands and adding value and differentiation to our clients.
