Anja Steinig’s love belongs to editorial design. As graduate of the Düsseldorf design school she started her professional career in the art direction departments at DDB Needham, Euro RSCG and Rempen & Partner. In 1999 she and Marcus Weyerke founded the design studio Formwechsel in Düsseldorf. In 2009 she moved to Berlin, Formwechsel changed to Studio F. Apart from her work as graphic designer she teaches typography and graphic design at different schools (FH Düsseldorf, University of Applied Arts Vienna, design academy berlin, Academy for Illustration und Design Berlin). Anja Steinig is member of the German Society for Design Theory and Research (DGTF) and board member of the Art Directors Club Germany, heading its editorial section.
