CJ Draper is a designer, brander and an avid baseball fan.
CJ graduated from Illinois State University with a BS in Graphic design as well as a BS in Arts Technology.
He started his career branding restaurants, startups and technology companies in New York City. CJ developed at the boutique agency, Kern + Lead, becoming lead designer on a number of projects. But he was thirsty for more.
In order to scratch that itch, CJ enrolled in the world’s first Masters in Branding program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Founded by Debbie Millman and Steven Heller, CJ absorbed as much as he could in the accelerated, fast paced 15 month masters program.
In 2016, CJ joined the forces at Jones Knowles Ritchie to work with clients such as ABInBev, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Kraft Foods, Perfect Bar, and Diageo. There, he has created work with a phenomenal team that has been recognized by D&AD, the Art Directors Club, Graphis, Print Magazine, Type Directors Club, Communication Arts and more.
When he is not crafting brands he is biking around the city, catching a ball game, or searching for that perfect slice of pizza.
