Alistair is Creative Partner at The Gate London. He has a proven track record of delivering innovative and imaginative creative ideas.
Over the past seventeen years he has written, art directed, illustrated and directed award-winning advertising campaigns; as well as collaborated on experiential events and product design.
Alistair has been awarded almost equally for creativity and effectiveness. Unsurprising, as they are natural bedfellows. He remains hands on in the creative process on a daily basis, whilst instilling a sense of positive dissatisfaction into the creative department: good is the enemy of great.He also believes in walking the walk.
Whilst leading the creative on the British Army recruitment account, his commitment to filming the most truthful work took him across five continents, including to the front line in Afghanistan. This entrepreneurial approach to producing creative, resulted in six award-winning integrated campaigns, including a Grand Prix at the Campaign Digital Awards and a finalist in the Titanium category at Cannes.
Alistair brings a sense of creative fearlessness, whilst believing strongly that collaboration is the best way to achieve memorable results; a throwback from representing Great Britain at European and World Championship level in rowing.
