Ryan Staake is a Filmmaker, Designer and Producer working across multiple mediums.
Raised in St. Louis on MTV, Macintoshes and MYST, Staake's work explores bold concepts, technologically-innovative production methods and non-traditional viewing experiences. Originally trained in graphic design at Carnegie Mellon University and RISD, Ryan spent the late 2000s working as a Human Interface Designer at Apple, contributing to the iPhone, iPad, and Mac OS.
After his time at Apple, Ryan founded Brooklyn-based Creative Production Studio Pomp&Clout to serve as a filmmaking and design imprint for himself. Pomp&Clout quickly expanded beyond Staake to include a talented director roster, production and creative team. In 2017, Staake joined forces with Patrick Piemonte to co-found Mirage Worlds Inc., a mobile augmented reality company headquarted in San Francisco, CA
