My name is Gaeun Oh. I am a New York-based creative. Traveling around the world and learning from various cultures and traditions have shaped me who I am as a creative today.
I value experience, because I believe it strengthens versatility and open-mindedness. Accordingly, I always seek to work with different kinds of people in different fields. My first recognition in the creative field was involved in painting (Hang In There 2013, The Gaze 2015), drawing (Addiction 2015) and photography (The Mask 2013). In 2014, I was introduced to marketing and advertising as I worked with Joy & Mario and Revolve. With a Korean fashion industry, AMS, I was it’s designer for 3 years, completing one of the biggest projects, by branding and creating Nam San Show Room. Currently, I am an Art Director at Nam San Show Room, creating lookbooks for fashion brands such as Lipunderpoint and Whitesands. Recently, I finished an internship at Levine/Leavitt, which was my first opportunity working in New York. My goal is to bring the best out of any position as a creative.
I was born in Korea and grew up traveling in Melbourne, Beijing, Pennsylvania, Iowa, and Maine as a student. Currently, I am finishing in BFA Advertising at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
