Not too long ago I set sail into the world of advertising as a very young creative and arrived at the shores of Y&R Singapore as a digital art director.
Shortly later, I decided to embark on my maiden voyage abroad nearby, 309 km away from home and I arrived in Y&R KL, Malaysia.
So what's fuelling my desire to voyage into advertising? I love how advertising gives me the opportunity to fuse emotions and logic, and combine right-brain creativity and left-brain strategy. I love that I'm given the opportunity to see the world through different lenses: an artist, a businessperson, a psychologist, a tech geek, a human.
Most of all, I love that now more than ever, the sky's the limit in advertising. I know the seas will be rough, especially for a young creative who still has a lot to learn and I am grateful for every opportunity that allows me to learn the ropes from experienced creative sailors who will teach me how to navigate the stormy seas.
