Ideas drive the design industry and are fundamental to Design for Publishing at NUA. We cover a range of communication media that always stem from initial exploration of ideas on paper.
The course delivery encourages a broad historical perspective on the print aspects of design. It embraces design for digital media and the oportunities this provides. You explore the interrelated fields of typography, layout, pagination and formatting through practical projects that cover aspects of visual communication, typography, bookbinding, book design and editorial design.
