Consumption is eating away on our planet and the Baltic Sea is no exception. But in the Nordics, we also find the highest usage of digital/card transactions. To turn the table and act as an agent for change using PR Ålandsbanken created the Aland Index. It connects to your individual card transactions and communicates a monthly CO2-impact report in your Mobile/Internet Bank. It also offers the opportunity to offset your footprint. As change is created in collaboration the bank launched the innovation for use by clients (B2C) and reach by the competition (B2B) giving it away to them for free.
