On January 27, 2017, President Trump signed an executive order banning refugees from entering the United States, leaving millions of children’s lives hanging in the balance during the worst humanitarian crisis since World War II. In response, UNICEF released a film to rally global support showing that one of mankind’s greatest mistakes was being made again. Depicting the shocking parallels between Syrian child refugees today and the child refugees of World War II, Harry and Ahmed’s words come together to build a single, seamless narrative.
