Background & Solution –
Image 1:
We live in a society which consumes. We tend to buy things we don't need, just to possess them. We don't even think about it anymore. If you are homeless you only own the things you carry with you. I started this Project where i show a portrait of a homeless person and the last things they own. I used this layout technique which is normally used by fashion magazines to show expensive accessories.

Image 2:
This photo series contains already over 20 homeless people from Barcelona and New York. I will continue this also in Berlin. The different possessions of the homeless people are worthless for most of the people, but for them they mean everything. With this project i want to try to make people think about what they own and what is really important to them.

Image 3:
This was a really special girl with a tragic story. She is only 19 and experienced the most horrible things, but she still has a smile on her face. The composition of her things show the best mix of a child which had to grow up way to fast. Talking to all those People who lost everything, changed a lot in me. I learned so many things about life and im thankful for that.
