Condomania is a condom store that promotes fun and safe sex but has limited resources. Ogilvy & Mather Japan created a campaign that would break new ground and see awareness of Condomania dramatically increase. They invited cutting-edge Japanese artist Photographer Hal to shoot a portrait series of passionate couples vacuum-packed in plastic bags. The resulting images are eternal, and complement the campaign's theme, 'Preserve the love. Wear a condom.' Each couple could only be inside the sealed bag for ten seconds, creating a very unique photoshoot. The peculiar experiment was turned into a documentary in which Hal and his subjects spoke about love and companionship.
