McLaren and Framestore marked the F1 giant's 50th anniversary in 2013 with the return of the award-winning ‘Tooned’. The eight-part celebratory special tells the story of McLaren's cars and the champions who drove them. The three-minute episodes were written, directed and animated by Framestore then broadcast on Sky Sports F1 in its build-up to the races. After each initial broadcast they were shown again throughout the year across Sky and McLaren's digital channels. The series forms a single film created to celebrate half a century of McLaren.
