Mind and Movement

Award: Yellow Pencil

Yellow Pencil / Graphic Design / Integrated Graphics / 2014

Brief — World renowned choreographer, Wayne McGregor had devised a set of choreographic thinking tools, intended to help teach the principles of his methods in dance schools. Solution — As part of our solution, the title of the piece Mind and Movement was literally deconstructed. The constituent typographic parts, were re-arranged in different ways, to form a set of patterns, without any scaling or skewing. The patterns were used to illustrate the key principles and teachings throughout the pack, as well as being brought to life in 3D in a small interactive exhibition.
