This spot was created to promote BBC Knowledge’s week of programmes commemorating the 40th anniversary of the moon landing. Using the line animation techniques of the time, we took the viewer on a journey of obscure, amazing facts relating to the event. The voice of Ted Maynard, who broadcast the original moon landing from his radio station 40 years ago, brought this fascinating story to life.
