St. Mary's Church Restoration Identity
Wood Pencil / Graphic Design / Logos & Typefaces / 2009
This logo was designed for the restoration of St Mary's Church in Rotherhithe, London. The committee required a single mark to symbolise the 300-year-old church and the repair work. The solution was simple: an illustration of the church, rotated to become a drill to represent the restoration work. The identity was designed to help raise funds and draw attention to the restoration of the church to its former glory, while also reflecting the industry and labour.
