Walkers want to help people talk to others and stop using the autopilot response of 'i'm fine'. I created a social media campaign and advert to encourage people to open up with walkers. Using #itsgoodtoopenup as the main component of the campaign with its double meaning of opening up to others and opening a bag of walkers crisps. To encourage people to help each other open up, 1 in 50 bags of walkers crisps will have a stronger seal that means people may need to ask for help to open them. The aim is that it will get people talking to friends, family and even strangers. The concept really reflects how hard it can actually be to open up and talk.
