Kala World is a product to celebrate M.I.A creation of worldwide renown album Kala. Kala World is a week long event, which collaborates and connects the developed world to the undeveloped through the technology of live cameras. Kala World produces narrative and a story of a much loved album, this event will produce a space which raises money for refugees to ‘Take your money”. A new way to reconnect and connect listeners. M.I.A produced Kala by travelling across the world, connecting undeveloped worlds, creating an art form of music. My vision was to communicate that journey through a listening experience. Allowing new, old and non fans of M.I.A to connect with the essence of the sounds from these countries, visually representing it with live footage on how these worlds work.
