New Blood Entry — Black Dog

25% of construction workers have considered suicide whilst 42% are living with mental health problems.

Construction has the highest suicide rate in England out of any other occupational group.

Inspired by Sam Fender's Dead Boys song, he talks about how men learn to live with the pain and drinking as a way to overcome these demons.

'Black Dog' another term for depression, is a vinyl encased in concrete that you have to break it to listen to it. A metaphor in order to breaking free from 'tussling with the black dog' and the stigma that may come within this community.

However Black Dog is much more than a vinyl, it's a call for action on the construction industry.

So they can be hopefully seen and heard, using PPE as the driving message.
