British towns are hit with the highest shop vacancy rate since 2015.

Rows of empty shop fronts make for an unsafe and discouraging environment to live in. Community interaction in return becomes more infrequent.

Through typography, the Hi Street campaign aims to bring life back to our high streets. Artists paint the town with typographic murals of local slang, culminating in an annual design & music festival. The fundraising event invites the nation to come and celebrate. Hi Street in partnership with local communities, will revitalise our country’s high streets, until no town is a ghost town.
