No jokes, no fake smiles and no karaoke. ‘Carousel’ shows how Nationwide puts people at centre stage, just as it has done for 160 years. The ad brings this to life with a carousel that illuminates each stage of people’s lives. We worked with acclaimed Director Eric Lynne and DoP Chris Doyle (‘Hero’/’In the Mood for Love’) to create a sense of calm in a magical world a million miles from any familiar bank advertising territory. A more human and friendlier world came across through the abundant use of different craft techniques throughout.
