The ad opens on the iconic scene from the film Singing in the Rain as Gene Kelly dances down a rainy city street. As the song builds, his dance routine becomes more energetic and exciting, reflecting the words 'What a glorious feeling, I'm happy again'. The dance routine then moves to another level. Kelly begins to seamlessly incorporate highly impressive and acrobatic steps moving away from a pop and hip-hop dance. At the scene's climax our hero arrives at a new Golf GTI, parked on the street. As a policeman watches amazed, Kelly performs a somersault next to the GTI. He lands exactly on the beat staring at the new GTI.
