Over the past 16 years, Powell has curated and grown a diverse and exciting roster of directing talent at Stink Films, including Yann Demange, Ne-o, Adam Berg, Martin Krejci, John Hillcoat, Nicholas Winding Refn, Tom Green, Ivan Zacharias and produced some of the UK’s most recognised work such as Stella ‘Pilot’, Honda ‘Impossible Dream’, Lurpak ‘Kitchen Odyssey’, VW ‘Singing in the Rain’, Bodyform ‘Blood’, and Nike ‘My time is Now’.
With a genuine interest in mentoring young directors, Blake recently launched Stink Rising, a curated platform to develop new talent across the globe. Bringing exceptional and unusual filmmakers who still have room to grow together with an outstanding global roster of established directors, Blake leads Stink's vision of working with the best global talent, moving freely between advertising and entertainment, across geographic and cultural borders, making the most compelling work in the world.
Stink’s commitment to craft and talent has made it one of the most awarded creative companies in the world with over 100 Cannes Lions, including the first ever Film Grand Prix for an interactive piece of work, as well as over 50 D&AD pencils.
