Spot The Spot

In dermatology, black skin is still an afterthought, making late-stage cancer diagnoses 3x more common. Since 90% of cases are preventable, we hacked the daily skincare ritual to turn routine into prevention. SPOT THE SPOT is a guide for skin cancer on black skin, created via Affinity and Canva. It consists of a viewfinder and the ABCDE's of melanoma, illustrated especially for dark skin, it transforms packaging into a self-exam tool. To scale the impact, we’ve made the template open-source on Canva for any brand to adopt. Design that saves lives by rethinking how we see black skin.
