Closet Staples
Closet Staples
Basics are rarely valued in fashion. While people repeatedly buy white T-shirts, socks, and hoodies, these essentials are often seen as boring; unlike food staples, which are recognized as necessities. Tex introduced Closet Staples, a campaign that reframed fashion basics as everyday essentials. Limited-edition packaging transformed clothing basics into grocery-style products, placing items like sneakers in fridges and hoodies in bakery aisles. The experience extended online, where these pieces appeared in the grocery section of the website. Launched during Tex’s 45th anniversary, the campaign reminded shoppers that basics are just as essential in our wardrobe as they are in our pantry.
