BA (Hons) Illustration

Now, more than ever, Illustrators have to understand the contexts in which their work is used. That's why, on our BA(Hons) Illustration programme, you'll work very closely with the graphic designers right from day one. Not only will you get to know how your illustration work will be used, you'll pick up some really useful graphic design skills too!
You'll also need to feel comfortable with a wide range of media and disciplines and that's where a range of challenging projects come in – editorial, books, advertising, web, mutlimedia, promotion and others. And, you'll explore letterforms, digital illustration, art direction, print making, web design and photography to name but a few.
We put great emphasis on knowledge, passion and enjoyment, and showing you how they can be used to make memorable, meaningful illustration. It's a subject we take very seriously but we also insist that it should be enjoyable and fun too.
We're different. But don't worry, in the creative world of illustration that's good, not bad.
