Are you RARE?
Being a minority in the creative industries can be tough. Progress has been made in the past years, with greater recognition of the benefits of diversity and various quotas put in place, but we’re not where we need to be.
As D&AD CEO, Tim Lindsay, recently said, “The general lack of ethnic and demographic diversity in our business and the appalling lack of gender balance at senior levels in agency creative departments is getting worse, not better. And as our business becomes more homogenised, whiter, more middle-class and more male, we serve our clients less well and produce homogenised thinking and solutions. So, for the future of the business, we all have to do something to put this right.”
We are the future, and we are the drivers of change. We are RARE. But to reach our potential and level the playing field in creative businesses across the country, we need to ensure that fantastic, diverse, creative talent, like you, has all the tools, networks and knowledge to succeed.
That’s where RARE comes in. We developed a masterclass program that aimed not only to inspire talent, but also provide tangible tips and tools based on the experiences of global creative industry leaders.
Led by a Host of Inspirational Speakers
The event brought some of advertising’s most iconic creative leaders – all rare in their own right – together with inspirational personalities, and professors from the Berlin School of Creative Leadership, for an intensive, truly career-defining experience.
