All Weaves In My Heart: Decoding Patterns of Hakka and Punti’s Band Weaving is a publication that aims to highlight the culture of Patterned Band (Fai tai) among younger generations. Fai tai was a traditional craft of the Hong Kong Hakka and Weitou women in the old days. The book provides an oral history of Fai tai culture as told by old female weavers, in which they share the skills and stories behind the colourful Fai Tai. Colour plays a key role in the design, creating a vibrant aesthetic that bridges the gap between this traditional practice and young generations. A traditional Fai tai symbol is used on cover with different interpretations, building connections between ancient and modern cultures.
