Due to the war in Ukraine, almost 50,000 children have arrived in Italian schools. Language barriers are the first major obstacle they must overcome. Even though children could express themselves through computers, they use Cyrillic. That’s why Save the Children designed The Welcome Stickers: a set of stickers that transforms any Italian keyboard into a Cyrillic one. The sticker kit has been distributed in schools and refugees centres throughout Italy, and each computer has become a useful tool for Ukrainian children to tell their stories.
