By creating its first recyclable tube, Colgate aimed to help reduce the number of plastic toothpaste tubes, estimated at 20 billion annually, that are thrown in the trash. But being completely recyclable and ensuring those tubes are recycled are two different things, so the Recycle Me! Tube was created. It features dynamic limited-edition graphics paired with bold messaging to build awareness among both consumers and the facilities that sort plastic for recycling.
